Serge Mukha – RRT,RCP

Serge Mukha is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Respiratory Care Practitioner who began his career in 2004 as an EKG/telemetry technician at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Working nights, he also attended Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY working towards his Respiratory Care degree. He graduated in 2007 with an Associate’s Degree in Health Science. Immediately after graduation, Serge worked at Albany Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist focusing on Intensive Care Units. In November of 2007 he decided to change paths and landed a job at a 6-bed Albany Sleep Disorders Center in Albany, NY. While working there he was also recruited part time at a local home care company, where he transitioned over the next two years to working full time with the homecare. Up until late 2010 Serge worked full time at a DME company and part time at a sleep lab. He has since relocated to Charlotte and begun employment with Carolina’s Home Medical Equipment Inc.

Sonya Pearce – RRT,RCP

Sonya Pearce is also a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Respiratory Care Practitioner. She began her career as a Respiratory Therapist in 1996 after graduating from a local college with an Associate’s Degree in Health Sciences. She was offered and accepted her first job working at a local hospital in Charleston, SC and worked throughout the hospital for 5 years. She then decided to broaden her career scope by moving into the HME field in 2001. She has been working in a HME company ever since then and thoroughly enjoys it. Sonya specializes in working one on one with patients that are new to PAP therapy, as well as continuing to work with those who have been on PAP therapy for years. Her family relocated to the Charlotte, NC area in 2011 where she began employment with Carolina’s Home Medical Equipment.
