Matthews, NC, Nov. 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Carolina’s Home Medical Equipment, Inc. announced today they have reorganized internally to handle the increased demand created as a result of the Round 1.2 Recompete Competitive Bidding Program. This reorganization also includes a new position to focus solely on the increased audit activity and regulatory compliance.
As of November 1st, 2014 Andrew Trammell has been named Vice-President & CFO, Kaitlin Nacarato has been promoted to Director of Regulatory & Revenue Enhancement, and Cilia Dioguardo has been promoted to Customer Service Manager. Additionally, John Melton has been promoted to Patient Service Manager. Debby Gilbert will continue in her role as General Manager.
“Our revenue has doubled since January. The organization and procedures in place last year are barely relevant today. The out of control audits coupled with the DWO requirement necessitated reengineering our entire business,” said Frank Trammell, President & CEO of Carolina’s Home Medical Equipment, Inc. “I would like to hope that the audit disaster could be resolved legislatively but I simply do not see that happening anytime soon. We therefore must spoon feed every detail to Medicare as if we were spoon-feeding a 6 month old as neither is able to apply common sense or logic.”
